This is an exceptional full silver plated rice offering pot (Neshi).

Rice pots have a very unique place in Tibetan Buddhism. In India during rituals and practices there are moments that flower pedals were thrown into the air. This was not possible in Tibet because flowers are scarce. Someone came up with the idea of throwing rice or barely instead. Today in practices like Nyungne and certain empowerment, rice is thrown at certain intervals.
