Bone mala beads are used in sacred practice to assist one in the contemplation of inevitable death. Once explored, the more fruitful life becomes. One begins to live life differently when one accepts that one’s mortality is inevitable.

Malas of bone, carved into skulls are highly suggested for those in wrathful practice.

This powerful mala is made from hand-carved Yak bone. The Yak is a very important animal in Tibet as they are used as packing companions for the nomadic tribes. The Tibetans honor their passing by creating these beautiful malas and using them in their meditative practices so that the animals can continue to be of divine service as they pass from this consciousness to another.

All yak bones used in our blessed creations have been lovingly and conscientiously harvested from a domestic population of yak, who have passed peacefully from this world, of natural causes.

All Zambala malas are handmade in Nepal and on the Tibetan plateau, then each is blessed by a Tibetan Buddhist Lama.

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee—you can return your mala for any reason within 30 days for exchange or a full refund.
